Creating a Japanese garden at the Park Palace in Monaco
A place of calm and contemplation where the codes of the Japanese garden meet a contemporary landscape language.
Narmino Jardins designed and built a Japanese garden at the Park Palace in Monaco. Conceived as a place of calm and contemplation, the project combines the codes of the Japanese garden with a contemporary landscape language suited to its setting.
A garden designed as a landscape in its own right
Paths, steps, stone and planting work together to create a succession of planes and viewpoints. Species were chosen for their graphic quality, their longevity and their suitability to the Monaco climate.
This kind of indoor or semi-covered scheme requires constant attention to light, irrigation and plant renewal, handled by our gardeners.
