Cacti: Ideal Plants for Mediterranean Gardens
Perfectly suited to the Mediterranean climate and mineral landscapes, cacti combine sculptural aesthetics with minimal maintenance. Discover why these plants are an exceptional choice for enhancing Riviera gardens.
Cacti are ideal plants for enhancing and decorating the gardens of homes and villas around the Mediterranean basin. With varied and pleasing shapes, adorned with very diverse colors and textures depending on the species, cacti blend seamlessly into the mineral landscapes highlighted by current trends. Landscape architects know this well and often suggest these plants which, although requiring careful selection and planting, demand very little maintenance afterwards, thanks to both their low water requirements and their relatively slow growth. In a sense, cacti are genuine living sculptures that will beautify your gardens and green spaces.
